Larrikan mask won't work

Iksar warrior 59, can't get Larrikan's Mask invis clicky to work when equipped in face slot or in an inventory slot. what gives?

I have to have myself targeted. This never occurred to me before because for all my other clickies I don't need to do this.

Its because you can actually click the mask on others i believe.
