Not sure if this is a bug or not(Melee Damage)
Ever since test server melee code was copied to live, i've been getting alot of 1 dmg slashes, which seems kinda wrong when using a 33 dmg weapon(Fiery Avenger).
My max hit went from 116 to 125, but my min hit went from 17 to 1. My Fiery Avenger bash min hit is 2 dmg, seems kinda off, my slash min is 1 dmg. http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=458 |
You should never hit for less than 17 at level 50 with a Fiery Avenger. Damage Bonus for a 44 delay weapon at level 50 is 16.

I'm seeing the same thing recently. My top-end damage is going up as I level, but my mainhand is back to hitting for 1 damage minimum.

I have also noticed more 1 dmg and 2 dmg hits while using 2H weapons. Previously my minimum damage was no less than 12 per hit. Seeing single digits is surprising.

It is really really retarded how much I hit for 1 now.

During classic was it even possible to hit for 1s with a higher damage weapon? If not then we know we need some form of minimum hit to replace the damage bonus.

Yea i'm having this problem too, and as of today it seems like the damage I normally do has been cut in half. With my mithril 2 hander I typically was hitting specs, which are 10-15 levels below me, for a max of 70 dmg, and a minimum of around 20-30, and I would usually hit for 60-70 on 90% of my hits. Now I'm landing half assed hits for 1, 4, 8 alot, and hitting for mid 30's most of the time.
