Binding at Gypsy camp in NK?

I remember being able to bind others or get bound by others at the gypsy camp in North Karana. . . EQatlas says you can but I don't know if that was always there or added later on. . .

If anyone knows when that was implemented or can find proof of it being there from the beginning that'd be awesome.
I tried searching the forums to see if this question has been asked before but mostly due to my limited attention span I couldn't find anything.

Can also bind in the arena off Lake Rathetear.

Just talk to the innkeeper at the gypsy camp to make it your home, then you can use your hearthstone to go there whenever you want.

I have an alt bound in the arena, but when i tried getting him bound at the gypsy camp today it wouldn't let me and gave me the message about needing a city to bind in

This is in the patch thats been pending for a while.

Originally we had a system that would work, but provide incorrect message to the client about how they should find a city.

After patch, it will work properly without the erroneous message!

Can confirm that it does work.

When you bind it gives you an error message, but after you zone you will notice your bind location has been updated (you can check with /charinfo)

I tried to get a bind in NK gypsy camp and got the "find a city" message. Tried twice, last time was right next to the campfire, but when I zoned it didn't work. I was on my alt rogue
