NAT Type... tricky stuff...
 

ok So I figured out the connection problem I was having with this game. It is because of the tethering app I use, ClockWorkMod. Because my android phone is newer, there isnt a way to root it yet, so I am having to used the paid version of Clockwork to tether. My brother was here yesterday, different phone that was rooted, and I connected and logged in and played EQ through his tether without a hitch. It was glorious and I was extremely happy to be playing again. So I did the research on why my tether app wont work with the EQ servers, and the best answer I have come across so far is the NAT type. I believe from what I read that the mod sets my NAT type to open. IDK much about this kinda stuff, but I would prefer to find a way to play the game through my tether and not my brothers. :(

Any help?
