A Daring Adventure: Plane of Growth
 

So, I've decided that I want to explore something I've never done. However, I don't want to just jump in head first without having SOME knowledge on the zone in question so I don't have to spend hours or days trying to either get my corpse back, or something of the like.

I plan to enter plane of growth and either try to solo or duo there for some fun. I've been told that it's possible; although, i've never spoken with anyone who has done it.

I'm just looking for any and all advice and tips I can get from people who have explored and dealt with this zone.

You'll die.

2 protectors of growth spawn every half hour or so and run towards whoever in zone is kos. They hit rather hard and summon. The trash is all annoying as shit too and lots of it is uncharmable.

Damn, that sucks. Summon doesn't really scare me. If they were unmezable / uncharmable though that would not be so great. I've heard of druids soloing in there though. Maybe they just did it while they werent KOS?

I don't see how druids would have any particular advantage over the typically superior soloing classes in PoG. We can't charm in there, and you only have a handful of faction hits you can sustain before you are KOS forever.

The simple answer is no, you cannot solo there due to the protectors of growth having zone wide agro.

You can probably duo in there if you have a bard friend kiting them and all extra adds around, you are able to charm a few different mobs in the zone. But if charm breaks you are at risk of dying. So you may want a healer with the kiter.

If you wipe the corpse run would be pretty bad too.

while exploring PoG on my Tunare-worshipping ENC, i went water illusion to dive into some lake. protectors dropped me like 10 minutes later. have fun

You can get pogo mobs to spawn in WL as part of the reinforcements for the tunare regiment. Need Kaelin faction and I don't know if they are itemized.

Honestly fear isn't interesting and is easily doable after getting a bit lucky on breaking in.

You could 1 group it with the right group, but it's doubtful you could solo/duo there for the reasons stated above.

Druids could solo there on Live, but on p99 the animals are bugged (not flagged animal).
