WTB 2 Bard Weapons- Need suggestions

2 Attachment(s)
I am looking to purchase two bard weapons that will carry me to lvl 50+. I am thinking I would prefer something that procs. I am currently lvl 32 (Main toon) and need some suggestions.

I have someone that willing to sell me a Wrapped Entropy Serpent Spine for 1.9kp. This would drain my bank account and was wondering if I could spend half that amount to get two decent weapons.
Attachment 7827.

Someone suggested to me to purchase a Harmonic Dagger
Attachment 7826.

The Wiki auction tracking shows this sells for 500p so I am sure I could pay less. The dagger does not have any additional benefit stats like the spine.

I would appreciate any suggestions and anyone that has bard weapons to sell to contact me here or contact Jofur in game.

Thanks again!

Sionachie's Partisan and Guardians Mace

Breath of Harmony (~2500p) and Guardians Mace (~1000p) are very good items with good values because bards are underplayed, BOH gets even better after proc at 50+.

Guardians Mace (~1000p) and Sionachie's Partisan (~250p) is cheaper option relatively close to BOH/Guardians.

BoH and Guardians Mace are excellent. I would also recommend Orb of Tishan for a great weapon you'll keep forever.

I'd recommend keeping all three in your arsenal even if you get epic because someday the instrument effect will work with epic in offhand and BoH clickie with an epic will be nice. Guardians Mace will always be awesome for the procs.

These are all great suggestions. However, I do not have that kind of plat to spend at this time on some of the suggested weapons. I have about 1000p to 1500p total I can spend and would like to get two weapons that will carry me a bit longer until I can gain more plat. It seems my best option with these suggestions would be to go with the Guardian Mace and Sionachie's Partisan.

I am currently using a Dragon Dirk and a Sacrificial Dagger and it just not doing enough damage or providing any extra benefits stats.

Does anyone have any thoughts on Blade of Carnage?

Why are u asking thoughts on a blade of carnage if u have 1 - 1.5k plat lmao

I am assuming this is out of my price range based on your comment but I thought I saw someone auctioning this off for 350p but I may have missed read it and it was 3500p. p99 Auction Tracker does not have any price data on this item. What does this normally sell for?

Hundreds of thousands of platinum is the cost of a blade of carnage. If anything, they were auctioning at 350K (350,000 platinum). Nature's Melody is the best weapon in the game for a bard. It's a toss up between Siren Song, Dagger of the Sea, Primals, and Blade of Carnage for the second best bard weapon in the game. Blade of Carnage is the best tradeable bard weapon in the game.

Thank you for all your comments. Just one last question. Is there any good reason not to purchase the Wrapped Entropy Serpent Spine for 1.9K or would my money be better spent trying to purchase a Gurdians Mace and Sionachie's Partisan?

Trollhide 09-07-2016 05:21 PM

I wouldn't spend the money on the serpent spine, that's more of a warrior weapon. Bards have no problem producing aggro (which you don't want) and that weapon will just cause more of it.
