Delayed casting?
 

I have noticed on my mage that when I cast a direct damage spell it casts, the light effects go off, but the spell doesn't seem to hit instantly like it used to, its more like it hits the mob on the next tick.

Anyone else notice this ?

Are you casting a Bolt spell?

The Flare/Flame Bolt line actually works more like firing arrows. The spell travels to its target, so you will see a delay, depending on the distance.

At least, that's how it was on Live.

What you are seeing is Long Abjuration Gain-time or LAG.

They recently fixed the bolt spells to work like they used to it will delay a moment
