OPEN Kael Arena Raid this Friday 9/30 @ 9pm EST
 

Our guild <Paradox> is hosting our monthly OPEN Kael arena raid this Friday 9/30 @ 9pm EST.

Anyone 45+ is welcome to join and all loot will be /ran 1000. If you win a piece of Thurgadin armor, you cannot win another piece of Thurgadin armor unless all other players of your respective class type have won a piece. I keep a running list during the raid.

All gems will be donated to the <Paradox> guild bank. We used to allow everyone to /ran for gems, but so many gems dropped that it caused loot to be backed up and people started ninja looting. We lost 2 Thurgadin armor drops and 1 Blue Diamond because of greedy players. It's really tough to let 70 people roll on gems and keep the loot situation under control. If we catch you ninja looting again during our open raid, we will report you and you will not be welcome to attend any of our events.

When you win an item, it is your responsibility to immediately stop fighting and search every corpse for your loot. Be relentless, there are ninjas among us!

On a more positive note, last month we killed Derakor the Vindicator and a random player got Chestplate of Vindication! =) We plan to do the same this time.

Gather INSIDE KD at the Wakening Lands zone line so we can move to the Arena as a group.

This sounds like a lot of fun ^^ You said all loot is /random 1000 and players are out until everyone from their class wins a piece of loot. Does that mean rolls are restricted by class? For example, if I am a cleric and leather pants drop, may I roll on those for my Druid instead of a plate item for my cleric?

Thurgadin armor drops and Vindi loot are restricted by class.

If leather pants drop, you'll need to be a leather wearer to roll. We do not allow players to bring their main and roll for their alts. However, there are many trade-able items you can /ran 1000 for, such as Circlet of Vallon, Book of Strategy, etc. For those types of items, you do not have to be of the proper class.

These open raids on Kael Arena are an excellent way for players who are not in a guild or have limited play time to get drops from there. Specifically Thurgadin armour.
