Signed up for a free trial of DAoC, sat at char creation screen trying to decide what to roll, started day dreaming of EC tunnel, wept, and now I am here.

Woke up from a dream where server came up and there was a crazy bloody GM event that you had to crawl throughout Innoruuk's body and kill him from the inside out.

No idea there was maintenance today. Got up early today and made my self a brew. Sat down on my PC and wiggled my toes. Turned on my PC and loaded EQ and got the message unable to connect. 10+ hours later. I am still here.

that's the worst when you have no time to mentally prepare for no eq for hours on end! I feel for you! Luckily, I had time to digest this awful news for a few days. Made it much easier to cope and deal. It's still hard, don't get me wrong. I managed to have other things lined up to keep me busy during this period of darkness. May we all make it through.
