Brother Z difficulty and min group requirements?
 

Hi, wondering what is the min you need to kill this dudes with lvl 60's with just decent+ equipment.

Not talking NTOV cleric and tank, but like BIS kunark geared, what would be min group requirements?

Tank/Cleric duo'able?

or would u require a rogue?

Would that be a solid Trio?

Can 2 mage's with epic pets duo it by chain summoning?

I haven't played on P99 in a few months but unless it's changed,

Warrior+2 clerics at least, helps if a shaman also shows up for torpor. Then as much melee dps as you can get as I think they are highly resistant to spell damage.

Mage or Druid (or alchemy pot) for Damage Shield is a huge DPS boost as well, both Brothers hit fast.

Will need at least one full group of 60's, War, clr,clr, dps X 3
When I did for my monks epic we had 14 people, 6 of which were 60 and nearly wiped (war had 5.5k hp once buffed so was no slouch!)
He's harder than you would think - big regen and unslowable iirc.

So ideal group is velious monk, clr, clr, monk, monk, monk?

Monks op

Pre-Velious we did it with:

60 Warrior
2 level 60 clerics
3 level 60 rogues

That was with no Donals BPs. It was a very close fight in Kunark gear.

I also did Qwinn with 2 level 60 Clerics each puppet stringing an NPC in South Karana, weaponizing them and getting a 60 enchanter to tash/haste the pets. Those 2 pets with two level 60 clerics alternating CHs were able to down Qwinn before going OOM. Though of course it requires 2 sets of puppet strings to do with just 2 clerics. 2 enchanter / 2 cleric should work without any clickies required.

Did it with warrior, druid, shm, rogue. Warrior (me) died at 5% but they finished it.

Did it with an eggselent war, 1 cleric, 1 main dps and one alt dps.

4: War, Cleric, Rogue & a Druid.

We died attempt 1 for reasons I cannot remember then re did it real steady and won just barely with the cleric OOM at the end of fight 2

I would say anything less and you better be down to do it a few times and figure out a min max strat or hope your cleric has BIS notv manapool

I know you said non NToV geared, but here is some data from an older parse.

70 seconds

Cucumbers
AC: ~1630
HP: ~6200
Melee: 4000 (57 dps)
DS: 11979 (171 dps) (121 dmg DS)
Total: 15979 (228 dps)

Brother Qwinn
Hits: 99 (63.1% accuracy)
Avg Hit: 147
DPS: 215

Solid tank and damage shield stacking is the easiest. (war/bard/cler)

woah 1630ac is way wrong.. 1500-ish

but yeah, get a warrior with DS potions, a bard for DS song/ac, and a cleric and let him punch himself to death lol

edit: and use defensive (I think it drops his max hit by 100) -- you want to be hit as each hit is your primary source of dps
