I was banned from Facebook

I was playing some vidya, minding my own business, when my phone lit up. It alerted me that I had been signed out of messenger. I log back in and it says that I've been banned from facebook for 3 days, and said one of my pictures had been removed for violating the Facebook terms of service.

My question is, how is a sun cross against the terms of service? It's just a religious symbol. I see people with crucifixes, muslim stuff, and menorahs and such as their profile pics all the time, and this one had been hanging out in an album for about a year.

They didn't give me a specific rule I violated. Was it just a wonky ban bot coming through? Anyone else having these problems?

Probably because white supremacists use it, but you probably knew that.

That's ridiculous. Got proof?

The ADL added the "sun cross" and other forms of the celtic cross to their hate speach database siting the uss of similar crosses used by white supremacist groups as well as nazi groups.

Unless you want to start beating up skin heads and forcing them to stop appropriating the celtic culture there is nothing you can do.

So because a small minority of people use it in a certain way, it means anyone who uses it is a nazi? Sounds like the (((ADL))) is generalizing like they tell everyone else not to do.

This is clearly part of that white genocide stuff everyone is talking about. Imagine if images of fists were banned because the black panthers use it to represent their analog of skinheadism.

I agree. It's pretty stupid. No words, symbols, images, or idea should be banned. Problem is these past 2 generations are filled with a bunch of self entitled cry babies who get a booboo on their feelings every 10 minutes. They feel like they are unprotected. Their mommies did a terrible job preparing them for the real world and their schools allowed them to ignore critical thinking as a skill. Only thing left to do it take our words, symbols, images, and ideas back by force. If you see an asshole using your cultural heritage to symbolize their backwards ideology you need to step right up to his dumb ass and take it from him with a swift punch to the throat.
