Is this in effect anywhere on p99? I thought that wasn't implemented on live until well after Velious.

It's only in The Warrens at the moment.

It was working in the warrens before, I've received a lot of trivial challenge messages in there.

So have I. Doesn't stop things from dropping though.

Did you get named loot from it? I've been in the Warrens a couple of times and it seemed to me that the nameds dropped the common drops (meat, copper, etc), but not the good loot.

I will agree. I spent a week in the warrens PLing and what not and the names never dropped what I wanted. I've been after that fishing pole the the Miglwhip fuck and still nothing.

I don't think it's broken for the names not the rest in there.

did you get magic / lore / nodrop loot this way? trivial loot code still lets the other stuff drop.

Yeah I got a crown of the forlorn from the king

edit: and a SK helm from the big tad pole guy

edit2: now that I'm looking at my logs I didn't get trivial messages for those two kills. I did get them on other kills. A level 36 should always be trivial, no?

if the mob is 25 I think you might still have gotten XP for -11?
