IP Address exception
 

My roommate and I would like to play together. He's an old school everquest player (back in the day) and wants to show me the world. I think it would be so cool to play with him but the server only allows one connection per IP address at a time. I filed an exception request in the proper (I think) forum 4 days ago but I'm not sure anyone's seen it. It has 4 views but I think that's just me checking in on it each day.

Does anyone else have any idea of how I can get this addressed?

Bump the topic repeatedly.

They do IP exceptions in waves. Last I heard they were about 4 weeks behind. So just wait patiently for it to get addressed.

Hey burrito, thanks for the info. It feels good to not be completely in the dark.

Bump your thread with what vpn you will use.

Then get a vpn and use that til you get your IP exemption.

PS- don't bump your ticket.

I've got a VPN thingy to change my IP so I can play with my BF, but it's got a limit and well tomorrow I won't be able to play ! T-T *eternal sadness*

I did my petition on sunday the 4th and still hasn't got any news.

Does anybody knows if they are gonna send an email for that ?

Also I had done 2 petition thread because the first one was so bad and now I can only see the first one when I go into "Petition" section...

It took me a little over 30 days to get the exemption so myself, wife and oldest 2 or 3 children can play together.

It can take time. Don't bump the thread. Just let them get to it. =)

I got the exemption !! :D Right on time when I couldn't use the VPN anymore ! Yay ! What a relief !
4th of december and on the 17th of december it's settle ! Not too bad ! I feel lucky !
