Rogue One (spoiler warning)

So I saw the movie, loved it. Does anyone know any sites I may rewatch that ending scene? Dying to see that part again.

I won't actively discuss the scene here, but I am sure anyone else who saw it Had their jaw drop, it was so good.

No troll?

I need you to weight it to TFA in order to take this post serious. Better / worse? And was there a Mary Sue in Rogue One?

If so, how much of a Mary Sue? Dominated the storyline? Or pretty much not a factor?

TFA would be an example where Mary Sue had a negative impact on story development.

Humor me with a sentence or two.

Prequels feeling reeel good right now we call that asset appreciation. Keep cranking out storyline affected by childish unrealistic interpretations on how things should be.

ITT trunge99 has no clue who Kathleen Kennedy is.

I liked the movie too, but it wasn't flawless. The editing was a little off at some points. But the final scene was pretty awesome.

What I think i liked most about the movie is it really added a lot of cool story elements to the original trilogy, but most notably a new hope. Since I was a kid I always attributed the new hope as Luke Skywalker. This movie seemed to present the new hope as getting their hands on the plans for the death star. I really liked that. It's really cool to get a different perspective on how it all went down.

The critics and producer said this movie will give fans an idea of how they are doing spinoffs,

and an indication on which storylines they are likely to select.

It sounds like it accomplished that. Could have been better without Kathleen Kennedy though.

Got a comment on the Mary Sue factor?

Yeah the first half of the movie was kind of lame, but once the get to the beach scenes and on the movie got better

So they rip off Hoth battle with a beach, Disney's turn from feeble dependant female to strong dependant female, twist the Bothan spy network (guessing), and layout how Disney wants the original trilogy to be looked at by framing everything around it? All guesses from the preview, and Disney banking like a god-king on nostalgia.
