8th ring
 

While me and a couple guildies are inside the fort killing the chief, the dwarf charges into the giant/orc formation and dies. I still have the head, is it possible to still finish this?

^ That will ruin the other persons 8th ring. You gotta redo the whole quest.

That happened the other day to a guy. I went ahead and deleted the orc head, not gonna mess someone else up. Now is the time to take a break from the game, just too frustrating. Cant imagine waiting a couple more months to win a ring roll.

You should petition for the head back...

While yes you cannot easily complete this without screwing someone else over Trollololol style, whenever you do win the roll again after redoing rings 1-7, you can just walk along with Garadain, and once he yells charge turn in your old Chiefs Head. It prevents you needing to deal with killing him again.

Don't worry bud. Those orcs are pushovers. They loved the glorious fire that I rained down upon them. I will be there for you again when you're ready for it!!

Should just keep the head as daldaen has pointed out and make another marching order to win a random. And when you win you can easily turn in the old head when he says charge without having to kill anything
