And don't tell me "bind sight" - since at least 4 of your runners were monks and can't bind sight?

Anything past the entrance line is considered a tracker until they return to the line. This is not news to anyone. Your runner knowingly, and willingly engaged a mob while being past the starting line. Regardless of if your entire guild knew it, one person knew it, or the entire server knew it. The rules are clear - if you are past the line you are considered a tracker and illegible for FTE.

So let's consider this -- as you put it:
Awakened willingly killed a mob that they had knowingly disqualified themselves from by acquiring tracker FTE. Politics, past, and future aside - these are the stone cold facts.

The punishment for tracker FTE/kill is not a concede - it's a suspension.

This is the type of raid rule lawyering nonsense that everyone complains about. Do you seriously consider someone jumping the line in a foot race "tracker fte"? Please step back and take a minute to think about this. Anyone who honestly thinks this is real should ask themselves if they are a part of the problem.

It's very confusing to everyone but they are actually completely different people.

I don't believe in any sort of "knowing" of the spawn times or any of that shit, he was probably going to refresh sow, it spawned, and was trying to take advantage of him being ahead and maybe no one would notice but it was too far of a jump.

The real problem here is that even knowing that your player fucked up, if no fraps would of been proven nothing would of came of this. Thats the fucked up part. Its crazy that is the mentality of raiding here. Prove it or it didn't happen.

The whole Awakened standpoint of we didn't know we were in the wrong till after the kill. Hmm ok maybe i believe it, but then that just looks bad on Hjial for not being honest to his guild and just saying shit guys, i was ahead getting a sow im out this run.

Naethyn 12-28-2016 03:15 PM

"Fraps or it didn't happen" originates and ends with Detoxx.

BallzDeep 12-28-2016 03:16 PM

Either way it looks bad on Hijal, the second he decided to compete means he was already doing something he knew was wrong. The question is, if you were doing something wrong would you tell anyone? If you watch the fraps, he disappears out of view before the runners start. I don't know about you guys but I was always alt+tabbed, watching screenshare or doing other shit until I got the go ahead or saw the pop; didn't really pay attention to anything else.

Will probably explain why I was never that great of a racer but never had the patience for that shit.

Imagine a place where you can schedule a guild raid and have a nice time goofing off in Teamspeak with your buddies, dungeon crawling these raid zones, and ultimately end up at an epic Dragon fight with half the number of people and 10 times the amount of challenge and fun.

You could even find time to squeeze in a RL social life, go on that diet you've been swearing about, and even actually earn your paycheck.

Some say phinny is the answer, but it's just not the same classic EQ world and mechanics that the team has created here on P99 and that we could make it with rotated raids.

Your argument for this is flawed. He wasn't jumping a start when he left the line. He was going to get rebuffed. His bind sight/tracking ability showed him the mob popped after he left the line. Again I don't care either way. In this situation though he was definitely a tracker past the line. This is why you guys should rotate mobs to avoid stuff like this.

BallzDeep 12-28-2016 03:21 PM

That would be a good idea if you didn't have to wait 5 weeks for Vulak. Problem with rotation is that most guilds are capable of eventually killing Vulak with time and a scheduled raid. It'll only be a matter of time before you have 5 guilds lined up for Vulak. There really isn't a solution other than no rules and fuck everyone.

Use an extra monitor for the screen shares. Run out and buy one now! That is what EQ has come down to on this server. Not joking if you want a slight edge.
