I'm a n00b who hasn't ever raided on p99. I only raided 1999-2004 era.
However it seems pretty clear awakened should beg the gm's to delete all the loot from that vulak kill. If they don't manage to have that happen there should be some suspensions. If anything whoever actually cheated that fte needs to be suspended, or guild removed or both, or at least banned from competing for fte on that character ever again.
Aftermath has a good point. You give up two attempts in addition to the loot from the attempt you cheated on. That's what the rules say. Once you have looted an npc it is too late to concede. At that point there is no benefit to admitting your guilt and conceding.
It's like being caught committing a crime. Then saying you'll accept the plea bargin. Even though no one ever offered you a plea bargin because they didn't want to.
Since awakened admitted guilt, but didn't do so in time to get the benefit of confessing early, they should suffer the maximum punishment. There's not even any need for proof anymore, the GM/sirken/guide can simply review the confession. After you confess it's too late to say you're not guilty.
