i read on kotaku that it's better than civilization five with the brave new world expansion pack

I saw this the other day on youtube & who couldn't empathize. You know he's gonna be sad the day they shut down the servers. I know I got a bit sad the day they shut down Warhammer Online (but huzzah for Return of Reckoning bringing it back w/a classic server!).

One of my first friends in EQ live back at launch was a guy in his 50s. He was a construction worker. This was when I was a teenager, and it was profound to me that a game could bring people together and make them fast friends, who would otherwise never be such. He actually ended up going on to be the server first 50 ranger on the server I was playing, which I thought was quite impressive "for an old guy". Suppose he'd be in his 70s today.

"Everything now looks like crap compared to this game." As a gamer this brought a little tear to my eye because it's true.
idk why but youtube put this in my recommend videos list the day it came out.

I remember when uo came out I was meeting people who were easily 40+ years old. Now they're 60+.

Asheron’s Call was definately an underrated game then and still now. 3d game world like eq with a skill system similar to uo (If im recalling correctly)
