im at a frinds tryin to get him set up with P99, and on step 5 at the eqemu site, and when i try to make

"C:\Program Files\Everquest\eqgame.exe" patchme

the target in the shortcut i sen to the desktop, in gettin a message that says:

the name "C:\Program Files\Everquest\eqgame.exe" patchme specified to the target box is not valid, make sure the path and file name are correct.

any help would be appreciated.

Did you install the game in \program files\everquest ? or elsewhere

By default it is installed to \sony something

C Program Files Sony EverQuest

So, as you see the location you tried to link is invalid.

"C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest\eqgame.exe" patchme

ehhh that isnt workin either.

He running 64 Bit windows 7? The directory can still be named something else. Find your Sony folder and remake your desktop shortcut.
