Newbie says Hello!
 

After 10+ years of fond memories of my time in EQ (60+ chanter at the time), I finally succumbed and logged in here for the first time last night. O what a wake up call! lol.

I must thank those players giving me flyby buffs at west freeport gate. I used to do this myself at one time, but I had completely forgotten how thankful it makes the player on the receiving end. Thanks guys!

Now to grind the cash for my first backpack - running back to the vendor after every five or 6 mobs is really a Pita. How the heck I will accumulate enough cash for my spells remains to be seen. Nevertheless I am having fun trying.

Sell bone chips to people who use/need them. Other than that, always find a skelly with a weapon so that you can vendor it, and use whatever you save to buy the most important spells to start with. Sometimes they'll drop a container if you're lucky.
