Mouse Max Zoom
 

I'm still trying to find this setting and having no luck... anyone?

Hi Guys, I haven't played for a long time and am looking for help. I thought there was a command or a file that could be edited that allowed you to zoom further out than the default view with the mouse wheel. I'm not talking about F9, just the straight back and fixed camera.

I know it was a setting in the .ini file. I just can't find reference to it for the life of me.

I think that was only in eq2... Could be wrong, I have a cabbage muff issue.

I never played EQ2. I used to use it to quad kite in burning woods when Kunark shipped... it definitely is in there somewhere.

I had this same feeling, as I use to quad as well, when I first started back here. It's just a different camera angle.

I looked in the eqclient.ini and there are some settings:

Camera1-Change=1

Camera2-Pitch=0.000000
Camera2-Height=18.000000
Camera2-Zoom=90.000000
Camera2-Change=1

I changed a few and logged in, saw no difference, and then checked my eqclient.ini again and they had been changed back to default.

This would be a nice thing to adjust if possible, but I dont see it happening without being able to send in cvar commands.
