Level 51 monk going to start getting resist gear for raiding HOT I think.what is the most important resist /resists and is ther any item/items in particular I should look out for

FR and then CR for HOT.

Since you're an iksar (you *are* an iksar, right?) the first thing you should pick up is a http://wiki.project1999.com/Stone_of_Morid and http://wiki.project1999.com/Crown_of_the_Froglok_Kings. Next you'll want a pair of http://wiki.project1999.com/Velium_Diamond_Wedding_Ring. From here I'd also advise you pick up a http://wiki.project1999.com/Seahorse_Scale_Cloak.

Some people go with http://wiki.project1999.com/Golden_Diamond_Mask but I personally just stick it out with http://wiki.project1999.com/Enshrouded_Veil for the HP. For a neck slot you can't go wrong with http://wiki.project1999.com/White_Gold_Necklace or http://wiki.project1999.com/Dragon_Tooth_Choker (I'd suggest this, it's cheap and gives good resists/stats.) Of course you can't go wrong with picking up a http://wiki.project1999.com/Wurm_Scale_Coat either.

And lastly, I'd suggest checking out the http://wiki.project1999.com/Deck_of_...neration_Quest and seeing if any of the flowers are available within your budget. They are a great way to bolster your resists without the need for a /tell to some AFK noob.

Well, the two times Ive killed him I duod him. Both were unslowed fights. Its really a very easy and quick fight and quest and worth doing!
