Casino Warning
 

For those of you who dont know. I am Chewboy and run one of the several casinos in EC. I operate fully legit and always make sure I have the money to pay anyone back like an honest casino should. But I want to issue a warning about one of the other Casinos i saw running today.

I can post Screenshots if necessary.

I see a char named Winwell do a /ooc for his casino saying his odds are 500+ is double 925+ is triple.

Naturally as another casino runner I send him a tell informing him that his casino is in fact set up against his favor. He tells me that he'll just have to see. So i ask himmhis total money and tell him i'll be over there soon to clean him out.

He tells me max bet is 600p.

I bet 150, lose.

Bet 300. Lose.

Bet 600. Win.

he doesn't hand me my winnings. I tell him he needs to give me 1.2k then he /quits and goes LD instantly. He is a member of peacepipe as well. The idiot still had the balls to rep his guild tag. I dont understand...

i can vouch for this, i was sitting right next to them in the tunnel and winwell just bailed as soon as chewboy won, without giving him his winnings.

i wouldnt recommend using winwell casino unless you wanna get scammed

i WOULD recommend finding his IP and kicking his ars :D

I feel your pain, its aways sad that there will always be people in the game that will cheat to get money, but at the same time handing someone 1.2k in plat is always a bad idea even if you think its legit or not..I say if you want to run a game...just make a woodelf female and give out hugs...for 10 pp :p

First of all thank you durpabiscuit for confirming this. Secondly I will attempt to contact Toop the next time I see him online. Thank you all for your feedback figured I'd just send out a friendly warning to others who see this guy struttin around.

I think casinos are a bad thing in general if things go sour like they did in this case then its just a big mess. I wont play them.

He is affiliated with Eclipse and was kicked from Peace Pipe yesterday for stealing all the gear and money from one of our members accounts and deleting his character. I already got a screenshot of this idiot admiting to stealing it and deleting the char... so Im sure the GM's will get on him about it... this is the second Eclipse theft from our guild the last character they stole over 100K in gear from (which we have recovered most of, Thanks Uthgaard!). As I posted before some of these guys are bad characters and have no regard for anyone else - and think they can get away with just taking whatever they want.

Winwell is also known as Portwhore and they are related IRL to Raymor (Eclipse)
