I don't have the spear but I do have a Raw Darkwater Piranha on one of my characters. If you can help get me to Toxx I am happy to turn it in for you. As a caveat, though, I tried the turn-in a while ago on another character and it didn't work. I am not sure if it was a faction issue (he was indifferent to me at the time) or if the quest is simply broken, but he didn't respond to my hails (at either indifferent or amiable faction on a second character) and he just ate the quest turn-in.

That is the same problem I've had, tried on 3 different characters, and nothing. So that's why I just brought it to auction.

Ahh gotcha, sorry to hear that it didn't work for you either. If you want to submit a bug report I'll add the data I have and maybe they can get it fixed.
