monk epic "Celestial Fists"
 

Hi, I have not played my monk in years, I just got the account password back as SMS Verification was reset for my eq emu account. For the monk epic at the end, it says to hand "mad" kaiaren the book "Celestial Fists" and that he hands you the book back. Then you are supposed to turn in the book "Celestial Fists" to "sane" Kaiaren and he hands you back "Book of Celestial Fists". I don't know if I handed the book "Celestial Fists" to "mad" kaiaren yet, can anyone tell me what would happen if hand it to him after already having done so? Or if I hand it to "sane" kaiaren not yet having given it to "mad" kaiaren? If anyone knows I would greatly appreciate a response. Thank you.

aren't the names different

pretty sure the book you get back is the same you only hand it to him to spawn the sane version to get the new book

so handing it to him again would just result in getting the same book back yet again but spawning the sane version if you need him up
edit: and handing your book straight to sane version without having handed it to the angry version should still result in the same thing

the names are not different, the quest is not entirely clear, but it sounds like the turn in is just so spawn sane kaiaren so I no longer have to worry about my book being eaten ! thank you for the responses.
