Is the Magician Epic Pet affected by any focus item?

Considering you need to turn in all of them to get the epic, nah.

still worth going back and getting for the insta reclaim energy.

Well not exactly true goodness. You turn in broom and shovel which work on below lvl 50 pets and then water and earth staffs which work on ones above 50. Only turn in 2 pre and post 50 but still. Even so he comes out same lvl/has etc every time and is a badass anyways so.

Fire staff from PoH does work on the 52 and 58 fire pet as well.

Yep - these pets are pretty much worthless.

I wish p99 staff would one day change some of the odd decisions that verdant made in regard to fire pets.

I use fire pet to solo right now works well for me use water for everything else. keep in mind level 33 so still works. that DS is just like the pets attack. but yall are right fire pet gets slapped around at higher levels...i dream of the epic pet... already to the planar stuff.
