Enc pet dual wielding
 

i know this point has had thorough discussion, but i just want to update that i handed my lvl 20 enc a sword, and it replaced the shield and he is DW'ing. sooo its a FACT that at lvl 20 you can give enc pets a 1h wep and they will dual wield w it :D

A more precise test is to give it a piercing/1hb weapon and let us know if you see swings other than "slashing."

is it possible that he would show the animation for swinging but actually not be DW'ing?

If you're certain you can distinguish the off-hand swing on an animation, more power to ya ;)

I can buy it, though - I think I remember the highest con of my level 20 necro pet DW'ing, but anything lower not DW'ing...Not totally certain though. I know all of my level 24 necro pets dual wielded.

the 24 necro pet DW'd without weps, and the 20 nec pet DW'd only when given weapons. i had asked about this previously, and someone told me that the 20 enc pet could not DW, and then cited the p1999 wiki. i'm definitely 100% i see him swinging both, however it could be just that, and not an actual hit, although it seems like he is hitting very often lol

You sure? My 35 necro's pets still don't DW without being given weapons...

Necro pets start to DW without weapons once you get the lvl 44 pet.

Enc Pets will not DW until 24 - if you hand them an extra weapon before that they will equip it but they will not attack using it.

Not sure if enc pets ever DW without having an offhand weap handed to them as I am only lvl 30.

Confirmed. my pet is dual wielding and i am lvl 22. give him a hammer and he'll crush and slash

i'm on a windows boot camp so i have mac keyboard and dont know how to screen cap. so if you want proof come to MM i'll be here a few hours
