The 100 Hardest Video-Game Bosses, Ranked

Quote:

64. Kerafyrm (a.k.a. the Sleeper)

Kerafyrm was never meant to be killed. The dragon, imprisoned in an icy cave called the Sleeper’s Tomb, was designed to awaken only once on each EverQuest server, kill everyone in sight, and then wreak havoc across the game world. Each server that triggered the event failed to slay the dragon. The story line demanded they fail. Everyone believed the Sleeper was indestructible. But the last server to make the attempt, Rallos Zek, managed to get the boss down to a quarter of its health before developer SOE allegedly despawned it, robbing Rallos Zek of its victory. After intense backlash from its player base, SOE apologized and respawned the dragon. Rallos Zek gathered nearly 200 players to make a second attempt. Kerafyrm’s attacks killed dozens of players at a time. Clerics resurrected them. Back and forth it went until, about four hours later, the “unkillable” Sleeper finally died. Over a decade later, the incident remains one of the MMO genre’s biggest controversies.

94. Vortex Queen - No, this was not hard at all.

91. Queen Zeal - No.

83. Crawmerax the Invincible - Ya, that was a challenge.

72. Mothrakk - No.

66. Baal - Lul, what? No...hell no. I smashed Baal even in Hell level when I got to him the first time.

61. Lavos - No. Easy

60. Darksol - I would say ...it wasn't easy but not exactly challenging either.

54. Manus, Father of the Abyss - YES! This stupid bastard is highly resistant to EVERYTHING! It took ...several deaths to figure him out.

45. Silver Knight & Laser Eye - Nope. I didn't have problems.

42. Wood Man - another lol....no not at all. He was freaking easy even without Metal Mans power.

41. Maneater - heh, first time I faced him. they sucked....many deaths later.

34. Grim Reaper - haha, as a kid ya...I had horrible problems.

33. Artorias - First DS boss that really wasn't that bad when I first faced him. Move sets were pretty obivous.

31. Death - Ya...he was tough.

30. Dark Link - No....just no.

22. Ornstein and Smough - Good lord....first facing these guys solo just sucked. Lots and lots of fun.

18. Dracula - yes, he was...

17. Goro - HA! Learning his move set was a pain.

14. M. Bison - Not at all. I smashed Bison.

10. Mike Tyson - Yes...F Mike!

7. Flamelurker - I didn't have too much problem with him. It just took a while to chip him down.

5. Emerald Weapon - I beat him legit and I don't recall how many tries it took.

3. The Nameless King - No. He wasn't too bad.

2. C’Thun - Prior to WoTK release my guild took him out. The fight was considered at the time to be quite difficult. I never got the bottom piece of the staff.

No Path of Exile bosses. Bad list is bad.
No Utima Bosses
No Dragon Quest bosses

What is this a list for little girls with frail limbs?

Im not a real gamer but the hardest games PvE games I played are Xenon 1 (stupid hard shooter) and some Defrag maps.

I played MGSolid on hard when I was a kid cus I wanted to get my monies worth.

I felt like it was the right decision cus it had no mini map and maps are for basic people.

But I was never able to beat the final boss.

Same exact story for the second to last boss of Shadows of the Empire.

Both those bosses had this attack that on hard mode basically 1 shot you before you could even figure out any semblance of a pattern, also no save state right before them, so we're talking like 19 minuets at least of gameplay to even get to them, so any hope of figuring out a pattern was impossible unless you were truly autistic.

I personally one-shotted all 100 of these bosses as a 12-year-old kid, blindfolded, with one hand tied behind my back.

That's pretty cool list. Brought back some good memories. They were that hard of bosses though.

Like that it had YouTube videos lol. I watched a lot of videos today.
