Well, for the record no, I would not stay that long. The earring sells for like 3k right? Assuming your character is high enough level (and if they care about always-on underwater breathing they probably are) you should be able to earn 500-1k an hour at the right camps. Even just killing non-nameds in Droga for fine steel will get you maybe 250 plat an hour.

At worst (killing random goblins in Droga) it would only take you 12 hours to earn enough plat to buy the earring ... and the Babarian race will hate you a lot less too (plus the Sarnaks will like you a lot more).

Then again, I spent like 15 hours at the Pained Soul camp, and I imagine the MQ for it sells for less than 15k, so perhaps I shouldn't be calling the kettle black.

I'm lvl 31 I'm trying to save up for a helot skull helm so i can look cool like the undead crew

If you're no lifing a camp in the 30s for plat, goblin gazughi ring is probably a better use of your time.
