Unable to start game

Logged off last night and everything was fine. Today when I try to run the Lauch Titanium shortcut (and file) it acts like it wants to load two windows pop up.

One in DOS that says C:\WINDOWS\system32>start eqgame patchme

Another normal window pops up and says: "Windows cannot find 'eqgame'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

Any ideas? I've checked the forums, updated my driver and restarted several time. As far as I know there were no patches or updates preformed between last night and this afternoon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Did you try to make a shortcut to launch the game? Because I've only ever been able to successfully launch p99 by using the actual Launch Titanium .exe thing in the c/everquest folder. Never understood why but it is what it is

Did your AV update and remove your exclusion for your P99 folder?

Re: shortcut - strange, mine works fine? I just have a shortcut pointing to the launch titanium batch file.

Thanks for responses. I tried running it through both the shortcut on my desktop and by using the windows file in my C: drive.

I don't have an anti virus program I just use the windows...

Its like a file is missing or something. Is there a way to redownload the titanium launcher?

What's your install path? It sounds as though your shortcut is running from the wrong location.

An alternative would be to edit your path variable and add the "eqgame.exe" to it - that way it doesn't matter what directory you're launching it from. Click in the field and ctrl+a to select everything and paste it into notepad, add the full path to eqgame.exe at the end, and then pop it back in.
