Sadly I lost/destroyed my toys as a kid, so my Japanese die-cast steel toys which were expensive at the time are gone. I remember them fondly though. :(

Stompers were neat too. You stuck a battery in them and they drove on their own up steep inclines etc.

Odd, my brother just msg'd me the first picture last night, asking if that was the one he had. I sure the hell hope you're not my brother.

I also had this little truck toy that would deploy a ramp to climb over things it ran into. Trying to find a picture of one of those as it was one of my favorites after the power wheels, of course!
