Bard mana songs
 

My bard does not regen mana faster than 2/tick while sitting regardless of what song I'm playing, or not playing. Tried all mana regen songs with and w/o instrument, and while sitting and not sitting. Also logged several times to see if perhaps I was just bugged. Is this working as intended or should I regen mana at the rate to which the song prescribes?

Working as intended. Only flowing thought will increase your mana regen as a bard.

Welcome to bard life. Your mana regen songs don't affect you. Neither do PotG, clarity, or necro twitches. 2 mana a tick for life!

Is that accurate that a bard gains mana regen from flowing thought items? I had always been under the impression that any effect that gives mana does not do so for a bard (flowing thought, twitch, buffs, mod rods, etc).

Only Flowing Thought II does... or something... I think. In any case whatever I'm thinking of is post-Velious so there's no mana regen for Bards in classic.
