I played for two years never going anon. 50 cleric and 45 druid. I like PvP and getting ganked by deleveled epic twinks. Fetish? Maybe. I found it motivating and exciting for every time I got killed in an uneven contest I got away 20 times without plugging. I definitely learned why people preferred to be anon. I never met one other person that was not anon.

I can understand a desire to disable anon to encourage PvP but it's not the answer to a 'toxic' chat channel. I believe the answer to that is in community.

disable ooc and the only way to express yourself publicly will be these forums....

The unity that comes from banding together against the toxic druggies in /ooc is the closest thing to human contact a lot of these players have.

While in theory Zumluk has a point when you think about it rationally, however it’s more useful then it is harmful with the pop being so low. If you’re that sensitive i suggest shutting it off when your not using it for beneficial things such as LFG/ports/wtb/wts etc

100 people on the server and it always the same 5-10 that plague /ooc.

If the blue players can't handle chatter from a dozen zones away, how on earth are they going to tolerate grouping and guilding with those people? Imagine when the trash talkers are in range and can exert their will through pvp.

Removing ooc will only hide red's culture, not remove it.

Ignight is like sikorsky but without any power or testosterone.

Ooc is a waste.....its basically a buncha nerds recycling the same garbage......chases away players more than it helps,should've been taken out but when has this staff done anything smart
