Is there an advantage to giving the lil book to this guy?
What are the disadvantages?

advantage: you get to reroll that character soon. anyway you probably screwed up your starting abilities at creation right?

(on a serious note; it makes you "PvP enabled", which could sound like an option in theory, but in practice on blue it means nobody can cast a buff on you, you hit all AoE spells when you group, etc. the server is just not meant for PvP. The server originally meant for PvP is red99, but this server is long gone into the abyss of madness and you have absolutely nothing to do there ^^)

Red server is for better players who want that extra pvp dynamic to the game. Not for the feint hearted (hence the population difference).

If it was identical to blue in all ways except for PVP I'd agree with you. But the global chat channels and EXP bonuses ruin it as a classic server.

I'd definitely mark you as someone who hasn't given it a try properly.


Priest of Order is one way, you can /petition a staff member to get it removed too (less classic)
