Kurns is locked down...
 

I'd really like to hit seventeen in the next decade but Kurn's is locked down by smooth-skins Pling their guild mates... is there an option for someone stuck on Kunark? I've tried LOIO and tSoNH, but everything seems to be deep green or Murderface. I'd really not like to leave kunark as I'm a monk and have to sell constantly. suggestions, please.

I think there are mobs near Kurns in FoB that you should be able to get exp from.

This. Leveled many characters in FOB when kurn was occupied. Would always try and get a small duo or trio going at kurn ramp. Worked great

Try not playing during prime-time hours, also try the basement. Was able to level monk to 24 in basement while getting all the fingers off fingered skeleton for Shackle quest.

Not trying to Troll but, do what I did and dump blue and give red a try. I leveled out of Kurns in a weekend and have enough bone chips to last me until I'm 60.
Just look up Sanctuary.
Not much PvP until 50s where it is actually fun.

Also, PLing in Kurns won't take a week. Come back tomorrow they should be done?

If they have the entire zone locked down for a PowerLevel, this is considered zone disruption. Give them the option to invite you or ask that they kindly give you a floor to exp on or face a Guide. IMO
