Character names
 

Does anyone else have trouble coming up with character names? I been stuck trying to come up with a few

Human male bard following Zek
Barbarian male war following Zek
Iksar male monk
Dark elf female agnostic wizard
Half elf female druid following Tunare

Ever since the recent banhammer wave of name nerfing I cant use stuff like Iksarmonk and Portaho anymore.

You can just keep hitting random until you see one you like. I have only created two characters so far and naming them was super easy for me. I used the same character names that I had when I played on a live server back in 2000.

Kaluppo was just a computer generated name sony assigned when I made a wood elf druid. It was the first character and first main I ever played. I kind of liked that in-game most people just called him Kal for short.

Then I chose the name Norezferu (Norezforu had already been taken) for my high elf cleric. I thought it was funny. So I made the surname "sodontask" So if you read his whole name it was:

No rez fer u so don't ask

Wargner
Konnan
Shaoliz
Blueaway
Friendfurlife

Careful or the Name Gestapo will get on your case :/

I didn't do a surname here on P1999. I think I'm ok with just norezferu.

In my experience, the more vowels, the cooler the name. Just fyi.

There was a dude on live years ago with the name:

Aeiou Andsometimesy

Or something along those lines. Most of these gimmicky names don't amuse me, but this one might have been the exception. I'd urge OP to dodge the silliness and pick a name you can role play with to the extreme. You can't do any serious RP with McLizardFace as your Iksar's name or something like that.

As per Spyder's 500 cock themed suggestions: "Cock" used to be filtered / jumbled, so if you'd pull a cockatrice with an incoming message, it'd always be like: INCOMING <a stonepeep qodkaptrox> 1 per message. How would this work with it in your name? o.O

Don’t put too much thought into it. It’s just a private sever and your name can get changed at any time. Also personally I think tryhard names are a bit eye rolling. Like a shadow knight named Vampyron Darksoul or some shit. It’s like come on dude, you’re not scaring anyone.
