Identify failing on Faded Velishoul's Tome Page
 

I two Faded Velishoul's Tome Page which are both exhibiting the same behavior. Holding them on my cursor and casting identify on myself on reveals that they are in fact a "Faded Velishoul's Tome Page" but not which of the numbered pages they are.

Without this mechanic working it seems impossible to research the enchanter spells Invigor and Feedback.

I probably have page 16, however trying to combine it with a page 17 fails saying these items can't be combined.

Identify is not the required process here.

You need to put the faded page in an enchanter's tome by itself (no other pages) and click Combine. That will do a skill check and if it succeeds give you a numbered page. If it fails the faded page poofs.

Thanks for the response on this (way delayed thanks). It seems the individual item pages need to be updated to reflect this note.
