Anyone else hearing the rumours about a 'shadow organisation' run by folks in the top guilds to increase the prices of specific items? Apparently as a gate keeping mechanism.

Controlling prices commands far more influence than just a couple people making plat. If fungis are going for insane prices folks are going to be camping king 24/7 instead of trying to contest dragons. If fungis are too cheap folks will be far more interested in raid targets. If torps going for 10k folks would be racing to roll shms, if torp is half a mil no ones playing shms.

This is so much bigger than the current top raiding guild.

Where else in the game can you get 35k for 2-3 hours of work with a small team? You don't even need to roll the dice with RNGezus, these mobs are always up! or you can you know, camp fungi for hours and pray that you get king to even spawn.

For most of the items listed by OP, why would you sell them? You just really want to twink lots of alts and give up a unique item I guess?

I don't have BiS on my main or alts, but I cant bring myself to sell my manastone b/c its just such a unique item and what I could buy with the plat is just a little more mr and hp by getting BiS items which feels dumb. Nothing can be bought with pp to replace manastone or beads or pre-nerf staff.

Its just a game, twinkin a toon to enjoy might be more fun than an item thats kind of only good on 2 classes? That I will never play. I gotta shit or get off the pot
