Thanks!

Hello I need the GM to fix my issue.

And now for some ACTUAL help:

If you go to your options (Alt-O by default), there is a tab called 'Keys' that is to select hotkeys for various tasks (including toggling window displays (i.e. opening and closing various windows)). If you choose the UI category under the Keys tab, you'll see what I'm referring to. Most likely, you accidentally pressed the hotkey associated with the group window. I checked mine and it's set to ALT-P (By the way, it's actually called the "party window"
Try pressing ALT-P to see if it comes back on.

Also, you could use the EQ menu, choose players and choose "group status." This will toggle the window display as well.

Hope this helps!

I'm pretty sure the default mapping uses ALT + P for the group (party?) window.

In general, if you ever accidentally lose any window, you can always do the following to get it back:

1. Hit ALT + "q"
2. See if any windows went away; if so hit ALT + "q" again
3. See if any windows (that you don't want) appeared; if so hit ALT + "q" again

Now, repeat steps #1-3, except this time with ALT + "w", and then ALT + "e", and so on and so on, going through the entire keyboard. It will be pretty quick once you start doing it, and eventually you'll find the appropriate key to bring back whatever window you lost.

Of course you could also hit ALT + O, go to the keybinding options, pick UI, find the window you want to restore, and then press the appropriate ALT + whatever key. However, the above approach is about as fast, and after you do it a few times you'll start learning which letter (+ ALT) shows/hides which window, and then you won't even need to go through the process because you'll know what letter to use the next time something goes missing.

Hello

I went to options and the hotkey is set to alt-p I pressed that and nothing happened

MilanderTruewield 06-05-2018 01:20 PM

You pressed them both at the same time?

I don't think a GM is going to be able to give you any additional assistance for client UI / user issues. Sometimes things just break, and you need to re-install the client. This is especially common with Titanium

You might also want to verify that the window isn't located off your screen.

Look at your UI file (e.g., UI_PlayerName_project1999.ini) and find the [GroupWindow] section. What are the values for the lines which start with XPos and YPos?
