bards n cha

what it do? Seems to be a lot of mixed info on this. Does it help charmin or mezzin?

Bard charm and mez only last 3 ticks anyway and is for the most part level based

Cha could help bard lull not get critical resisted but my bard has terrible Cha and I've only ever gotten crit resist on a blue con npc like once ever. However lull is also more dependant on your level vs. targets level so that is also something to consider...

Imo Cha while not entirely useless for bard is not worth gearing towards... High resists and HP/ac are best for bards, to resist spells when kiting and tank stats for tanking, bards have amazing threat and can easily hold aggro. While not as naturally durable as other melee their ability to snap aggro Mana free endlessly will prevent alot of damage overall to the group

Like Fox said, HP + Resists are the biggest stats you should be focused on.

I personally like having a bit of extra CHA because if I'm lulling in the first place it's usually pretty important not to get the whole mess of mobs. (I have had some bad experiences with critical lull resists.)

Also I am pretty sure higher CHA makes me more popular with the ladies.

No HP/stamina gear is going to either get you killed a lot more on a bard or make you the best bard there ever was due to how cautious you end up being ;)

Charisma for bards really only helps with lulls though there is also (allegedly) a small reduction in missed notes tied to dexterity and charisma.

Hp/resists are more important imo.
