Claws of Veeshan faction best farm now?
 

What do giants give now per kill, is it 1 faction a kill in wakening lands and great divide same with the wolves on kael faction? do any special named aside from vindi/statue/tormax give better hits? mostly ask because people say the elites/beserkers give higher hits, even though elites are like 3x harder then beserkers.

Just curious where I should be headed to grind faction in a week or two, Have heard stories of behind tormax throne but that isn't an option at the moment. Was into threateningly already, logged about 106 kills of wall giants(sentinels) and no budge out of threatening. OVP click on wyvern in CS, no budge. Just curious if 1 giant = 1 faction then thats at minimum 100 giants more to kill unless others give higher faction hits/named.

I have a bunch of helmets ready to turn in soon as im dubious, No idea the true faction they give per hit. I knew the old days how fast/easy it was just soloing wall giants in WL for exp + faction, if you were never max kos you could be non kos in a matter of an hour or two. That was before I learned of killing the tomekeeper/escort up on the far hill, lieutanent/surveyor and such gave wildly higher hits.

So, for claws of veeshan faction best suggestion still GD giant fort? maybe tag a ton of wolves, either swarm them, or pbaoe them or just go mob to mob beating them up. and if there are any better ways ie behind tormax whats it take. I hear a rogue/shaman can do it pretty easy, just getting the kos shm is tough there.

I found participating in arena events and mini boss kills worked well to raise cov.

Kael Arena or Statue/Avatar hits are the way to go now, I think. :o

Vindicator is not a big hit though.

I did grinding in WL @ Kael. When there was 6+ people there things got mowed down pretty quickly. Still took me a couple evenings.

Should mention im on red, so arena isn't really a thing. its empty a ton, and not a great source of faction or exp since people only take minimal groups there to slowly farm for armor drops. At the rate giants die up there, You would kill 5 or so giants outside WL or in GD before one was pulled and killed in arena

@zodium I know they are big hits, especially avatar of war but he is not killed on red anymore, possibly lack of enough people/class comp who knows. I already took a few vindi hits to get me started but yeah its not much at all. Statue isn't often killed either.

@raavak this was post patch change yeah? any idea how many rough kills to get what, amiably, ally?

@ramen i have heard of this, but using a factioned mage to coth a shaman back there first. then call up a tank and dps. before bringing in the lower levels to sort it out. but isnt really an option atm, nor is trainin them to ZL as no access to a tormax puller.

Basically wondering if WL + GD is o nthe same per hit on kill. if so, GD has more targets so might end up there. both have same respawn, even though GD has more ground to cover to pull stray dogs/giants vs walking up and down a wall the last thing i want is to aggro lieutenant or overseer etc.

Yeah if you basically can't kill anything except for green trash mobs then WL is like, literally the only option.

Try red! They can't kill AOW, but you didn't want to do that anyway.

I spent some time killing mercenaries in WL. Gave me decent faction for how easy it is.
