You really think it's hate speech/harassment? It's people being mean on the internet. Just own it and they can't hurt you with it, not online. When you speak on a forum, you're not only speaking to the person you're speaking to. You speak to the forums and you will be judged by what you say. Let people show their character and be treated accordingly.

Snappers was an insufferable, negative asshole and he got himself shunned from the gains thread the day after he began participating in it. This is largely due to his nasty, constant anti-trans comments. He got called out and was not allowed to participate in a thread about a subject matter that was important to him. Patriam and Mead, thank you for not letting that type of behavior go unchecked. It's very much appreciated.

If you ask for censorship / political correctness and get it, you will never know where you stand with someone. I'd rather know who the assholes are.

Yes, I really do think Cecily. I'm not trolling when I say this. There's a line that shouldn't be crossed. And they did - encouraging suicide would be borderline illegal here in Canada. You can be politically non-correct without being hateful/harassing. Free speech isn't more important than freedom from harm. The law in Canada agrees with this. Sorry it's not quite there yet in the USA - both in law and how this is viewed.
