Prenerf one is piercing. So not as pictured?

I thought pre nerf was the fact that it was prim/ sec?

Can one of the melee theorycrafter types explain the pros/cons of a piercing wurmslayer over a slashing version? Pure curiousity here... I mean, obviously a rogue would spunk over using this... but what is the benefit for the other listed classes?

Dual wield formula and it going off more often than intended with a VERY fast primary they didn't foresee(twig).

The nerf was necessary.

The picture I posted is from the game, for some reason the pre-nerf version here is already slashing, but equippable in either hand or range.

Isn't the nerf retroactive? When does it get nerfed?
