ok, so did Donald Trump win or lose in this election? well? |
Trump wasn't on the ballot. |
I think it all depends on what the newly Democratically controlled House finds when it investigates Trump. |
the red team lost their ability to pass legislation, making it an unmitigated disaster for them :) |
The Republicans extended their hold on the Senate. The Democrats flipped the House and hold a 1 seat majority. It was a pretty average midterm. The fact that there was no "Blue Wave" speaks volumes. It's a definitely a win for Trump. The House will be lead by people who make the Democrats look insane, so that's a plus as well. If Republicans held everything for 4 years, the pendulum would swing much faster and that's not what they want. |
Dems flipped ~30 house seats and 7 governors. Repubs flipped 2 house seats and 2 senate seats. Many more repub senators are up for re-election in 2022 and 2026 compared to 2018. Trump is done. |
