Totally agree.

Cut the original timeline off at velious, pick up from there with "new" expansions that continue keeping EQ being EQ.

That would be a passion project, 100%. Games like eq are not cool these days to be marketable. Totally cool with that, whats marketable is unappealing.

That being said, I would pay $50 for a rogean/nilbog expansion. if they could work with the original non-luclin engine.

maybe.. I have faith but it seems like games today are really artistically sucked dry or overly cartoony cutesy.
