Can't 'Raise Camera'
 

I have tried changing key binds and removing ui files etc and for some reason I am unable to Raise my camera angle at all. I can zoom in an out, and turn but not Raise or lower camera angle (default bind is alt + up I think). I am not sure why this is occurring :confused:

Is this in first person view? I always use 9 and 3 on the 10key or pageup/down.

Also, not all of the 3rd person views are capable of looking up/down.

It's in 3rd person, and its not looking up/down, it's actually moving the point of which the camera sits. I can't move that point up or down anymore. Like I have said, I have tried remapping the keybinds as well to no success. I used to be able to no problem back when I played on this server last May/June.

Anyone have any ideas?

The last 3rd person view before you return to 1st person when pressing F9 should be able to pivot the camera up/down. I'm not aware of the other views being able to do this.

I was just in-game and I can raise the camera angle in all camera views except the 3rd person view (when you can scroll back w/ mouse wheel to see your character). The default keybind is alt+up arrow or alt+numpad8). Not sure why this is the only view that I can't do this with, I had played EQ w/ only this camera angle for years and even played with it on this server for quite a while...now w/ kunark out it won't work.

You're just scrolling out from first person? I've never been able to alt+up from that camera. I'd suggest the F9 twice from first person view if you want to do that. The only drawback of this is that using RMB can make your camera move up/down and gets really annoying.

I've done it since I've played EQ, and ever since kunark I haven't been able to. Dunno why you weren't ever able to do the same.

Press 5 on your number pad, that should put the view back to default (if looking from the 1st person view).
