It's sad you think that

Clear winners are definitely emerging in this internet fight!

No, that's turning a video game into a 2nd (or 1st!) job, which sadly is the barrier of entry to raiding on this server.

You gotta be hungry!

I think with ample time to setup and do a non rushed pull Aegis would be able to clear NToV including vyemm just need enough clerics really. Pulling will be pretty trivialized with 72 hrs or whatever to get it done, I can’t wait to bathe in doze tears!

So now we like rules? :P

lol I was salty when that happened too! But you're right, Aftermath did try to pull a fast one there. Memblur is definitely not in the spirit of a Yelinak agreement. You can just instant FTE to stall and then memblur Yelinak when you are actually ready to engage without penalty.

I can see how a group of AG was eager to try an early engage, not realizing the implications of such a strategy. Likewise, I can see how a group of Aftermath thought it was clever in that moment to memblur Yelinak, without thinking about the implications. Trying to get away with something "clever" is something we all fall victim to from time to time.

The difference is that AM conceded the mob after pulling the memblur stunt. AG didn't concede after stalling for 4-5 minutes. Yelinak is now a coth race.

A warrior with a reaper and soulfire coth race.

Dillusional 02-09-2019 07:39 PM

^^^ yeah, I regret not adding that. You're right, Aftermath did the right thing in that instance and conceded right away.

And like my original post about the recent Yelinak situation on this thread mentioned. A warrior stalling a perma-rooted mob is a flawed concept. It's too easy and tempting to cheat.

Dillusional 02-09-2019 07:47 PM

Yelinak will agroe anyone within line of sight, well out of melee range.

Once a warrior gets agroe, do you have to run towards yelinak?

Can i turn walk on and slowly walk towards yelinak before i start tanking it?

Can I weigh myself down with copper?!?

How long does the warrior have until he has to engage it from the time he gets face agroe?!?!?!

The whole concept of having unlimited time to tank Yelinak before it gets into summoning range is ridiculous and flawed and makes no sense

Dang I made myself mad again.

Just make him summon at 100%
