Is this good enough to run EQ?

I am looking to get a computer to play Everquest as my other one is dying. I don't play anything else atm and am looking to go as cheap as possible. Any ideas if this is sufficient enough to run EQ?

Thanks for any input and/or advice

Pretty sure my 3 year old phone could run p99. But a 32gb harddrive to put windows 10 on sounds like you're gonna have a bad time.

Does it have to be a laptop? Look for refurbished Dell towers on ebay. Can find them much faster than that laptop for around the same price.

You may want to invest in an external ssd drive since this only comes with 32gb of space

you can literally get $100 10 year old laptop to run EQ1.
Don't need high processor or ram if you NOT using Win10.
Better get one with Win 7

Kika is right. Most people playing back in 1999 were using 486 processors. A far far cry from what we have today. You could pick up an old Packard Bell at a yard sale and run P99

Thank you!

don't get that thing..much much better options out there for close to the same price. not only that but dell?...anyone that tells you "yeah get that dell" are just waiting to laugh at you when you do.

if you can go with a tower rather than a crapbook/shittop buy a cheap motherboard and an APU so you wont need a gfx card. and you can pick up pretty decent SSD's nowadays cheap, most new mobos will support an m.2 drive as well, you can cut down on the PSU cost a hell of a lot that way. you will be able to do so much more and still not spend much at all

as for a laptop https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...82E16834269996 much better option. wait for a few months and when RAM prices drop some more, upgrade the ram..ur good.
