I still can't believe I played this game at release many years ago and am now playing again with all the current mmo's to choose from! So many great memories back then and now!

GM's, if you were to ever have another event, Now would be the time to do so!!! Tomorrow marks the actual date of the release..........

Dunno if the GMs will show, but I believe someone (I want to say Cen?) is organizing an in-game run to mark the occasion.

Totally agree, awesome read. Amazing how hard they worked to make EQ happen. Didn't know Brad put out some relative failure MUD that wound up landing him the job of a lifetime.

One of the more interesting parts for me was how they developed a new network protocol to handle bandwidth on a 28.8k modem.

Goes to show how much you can achieve if you believe in something and work hard for it.

Also, a good lesson to be learned is how awesome a product can be if the executives just let you do your thing.

Yeah on front page. I posted in discord for p99 and wrote in commons a few times. I will spam a few times tomorrow and hopefully see some folks at 5 eastern ;p
