Targetting someone else's corpse
I have not played n a long time, but I thought there was some command to target a corpse you've been consented for.
|
/target name
You have to be within range of the corpse though to get the target. Hope that's what you were asking |
if the person is in the zone and you want to target their corpse you have to type /tar name's corpse
or simply /tar name' the apostrophe on the end designates the corpse, otherwise the client will be trying to target them while they're out of range and you'll get nothin |

You only need the "'s corpse" part if the person is standing nearby while you're trying to target the corpse. On a general note, this is because of how /target works: it does a partial first match (ie. it looks for any name whose first letters match whatever you typed). So when you type /tar bob, it still works even on "Bob's Corpse", because "bob" is the first part of "Bob's Corpse". Sometimes on raids I find it easier to /tar *a few characters* and then do /tt (/ttell, ie. target tell), since there's no way to send a tell by just typing the first few characters. |
